Hi

I'm just about to order gc0056 Madrid June 14 2001 but I would like to ask a few questions first.

Since I live in the UK, will the DVD automatically be converted into PAL or do I need to do something to ensure this happens?

Also, I'm a bit confused about the shipping options. I've been given USPS Global Economy Parcel Post, mail, and postal. What are the main differences between these options, like would one option be quicker than the other?

Lastly, how long would you say it would take for the DVD to arrive in the UK?

Thanks

Paul

Hello Paul.
I have not needed to convert the DVD's to PAL. I suppose everyone watches them thorugh their computer, or their DVD player has no problem with them. We have never had one come back. It can be done I'll just have to get with a friend who has done it. I do have a standards converter I run my tapes through. but then it is not an exact copy as I like to make.
We had one shipment to the UK that was $10.50 but we are not shure if that was one or three dvd's.
We have got e-mail back where someone has got the dvd in about 4 days. It seems to only take longer if it is held up in customs. but the UK mail system seems to be fairly reliable compared to some other countrys.

Thanks for your reply.

I've done a bit of research on the matter and it seems most DVD players can play both formats so NTSC should be fine.

For the mail options I would like to choose mail or postal because its $4.25 cheaper than USPS (priced at $24.25) but would it take any longer to arrive if I choose one of the less expensive options.

Also when you send out my order would it be possible to mark it as a gift to avoid extra customs charges?

Thanks

Paul
