Hello,

I'm not yet an aficionado but I have question for you;

On a corrida DVD July 10th 2005 in mexico tiyana with matador Eloy Cavanos and the toro "un motivo" had an indulto but I was very surprised to see the matador with a tail and one ear after the fight.

Is it because the butcher will kill the toro outside? :confused:

All my great admiration for these amazing matadors.

to my understanding a toro/bull that has been indultado has been granted the right to live. I don't know if in the video that you witnessed the ear and tail were from a later bull or maybe it was edited. I have never seen a bull that has been forgiven/indulto harmed after the judge has has ordered it. also the bull goes back to the bull owner and the bull owner is supposed to breed this bull so his stock of bull, ranch and his credebility in the bullfighting world would increase in value and the off spring from this bull would be MAS BRAVA or a bettter bull.

They took the tail from another bull. it was a symbolic presentation.
